The time has finally arrived: General public tickets for the 16th Annual Metrolina Theatre Association (MTA) Awards Gala are now live!
Event Details:
- At the Booth Playhouse, 130 North Tryon Street, Charlotte, NC 28202
- Pre-show reception & light hors d'oeuvres with cash bar: 6:00 PM
- Doors open: 7:00 PM
- Ceremony: 7:30 PM - 9:30 PM
Tickets & Pricing:
- General Public: $60
- Nominees: $40 (Information below on how to obtain this rate)

About the Evening:
This annual gathering is a wonderful opportunity for artists and patrons across the region to celebrate the exceptional productions of the 2025/2026 season. The evening will feature the MTA Awards, recognizing outstanding work from performers and technical crews, alongside live performances from past-season musical productions. We are thrilled to host this year's event at the Booth Playhouse for the first time!
In addition to light hors d'oeuvres at the pre-show reception, a cash bar will be available. Professional photographers will also be on hand to take photos throughout the evening and at the MTA backdrop.
Important Details & Updates:
- Nominee Discount Rate: Individual nominees can purchase a ticket for $40 (applies to the nominee only). Nominees may also purchase one additional guest ticket at the general public rate ($60) to sit together. To secure this rate, please email MTAPrezinfo@gmail.com by October 11.
- Parking: Discounted parking is available at the Bank of America Corporate parking garage. Please bring your parking ticket to the theatre for validation by an attendant.
- Voting & Nomination Categories: This season, 44 productions (23 musicals, 21 plays) across 25 companies were adjudicated. Because of the high volume of productions, the ballot was opened to the top 7 nominees per category, with ties accounting for additional spots in select categories.
